To further serve the intellectual sphere, foster cultural dialogue, and promote creativity, emerging talent, and diverse enlightenment perspectives, the Galawezh Cultural Center is organizing the 29th Galawezh International Festival in Slemani.

To this end, we invite writers and academics who wish to participate in the competitions of the 29th Galawezh International Festival to submit their works in the categories of (Poetry, Short Story, and Research) within a three-month period (from May 1, 2026, to August 1, 2026), according to the following conditions:

1. Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format, not PDF.
2. Poetry submissions must not exceed five (5) pages.
3. Short stories must not exceed two thousand (2,000) words.
4. Research papers must not exceed six thousand (6,000) words.
5. Participants may submit only one entry.
6. Submissions must be original and previously unpublished, and they must not have been presented to any other academic institution or platform.
7. The author’s full name, phone number, and address must be included with the submission.
