A delegation from the Kurdistan Photographers Association—including photographer Nasih Ali Khayat and Jamal Salih, Head of the Slemani Photographers Association—participated in the largest “Photo Story” exhibition in the city of Qamishli, Rojava. Competing against 28 photographers from all four parts of Kurdistan, Nasih Ali Khayat secured first place and won the award for “Best Photo Story.”

Following this success, the delegation visited Dr. Haval Abubaker, the Governor of Slemani, to express their gratitude for his continuous support of the association’s activities. For his part, the Governor extended his warm congratulations on this achievement and reaffirmed his commitment to further supporting the art of photography and the development of Kurdish photographers.
