We are pleased to invite recommendations for our upcoming Literary Award. We are seeking outstanding novels that explore the theme of Diaspora. Please review the guidelines below to submit your recommendation.
1. Recommendation Qualifications
- Open to All: There are no restrictions on who can submit. Individuals and groups are welcome to participate.
- Limit: Each person (or group) may recommend only one piece.
- Policy: Self-recommendations are strictly prohibited.
2. Eligibility Criteria for Works
- Books published in Korean or English
- A novel on the theme of diaspora
- Literary works by living authors (excluding out-of-print works)
3. Publication Eligibility Period
Eligibility is determined by the original year of publication based on the official language of the award:
- Korean Works (Original Language): Published between July 2015 – June 2025.
- English Works (Original Language): Published between July 2005 – June 2025.
- Translations (Original language is neither Korean nor English): Must have a Korean or English translation published between July 2015 – June 2025.
Note: If a work exists in both Korean and English, the most recent publication year will be used as the standard. Works published after this announcement date are also eligible for review.
4. Submission Timeline
- Opening Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025
- Deadline: Tuesday, December 23, 2025
