The Jamal Erfan Cultural Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2013 by the prominent Kurdish national figure Dr. Taha Rasul. Over the past 13 years, the foundation has published more than 1,384 diverse titles, most notably a 100-title series on Genocide, the 150-title Oxford series, the History of Civilization (31 volumes), the Routledge History of Philosophy (10 volumes), Copleston’s History of Philosophy (9 volumes), the complete works of Chekhov (10 volumes), the Kirkuk Encyclopedia (10 volumes), the Encyclopedia of Orientalism (7 volumes), and the collected works of Masoud Mohammad and Mullah Jamil Rozhbeyani. Beyond publishing, the foundation has organized over 1,156 seminars and training courses, collaborated with 271 authors and translators, and donated over 87,000 books to educational centers through its “100,000 Books” project. The foundation is currently led by Wriya Hassan Zaman, a specialist in Social Psychology with over 11 years of experience in the cultural sector.
