A new monument has been commissioned to honor the life and legacy of Abdulla Pashew, the renowned Kurdish poet celebrated for his profound nationalistic poetry and contributions to Kurdish literature.

The project was initiated upon the recommendation of Dr. Taha Rasul to recognize Pashew’s lifelong dedication to the Kurdish cause. The statue has been sculpted by the acclaimed artist Saman Abubaker.

The project is a collaborative effort between the Karimi Alaka Foundation and the Jamal Irfan Cultural Foundation, with full sponsorship provided by Dr. Taha Rasul. The statue is expected to be unveiled in a prominent location within Iraqi Kurdistan in the near future.
