Today, Dr. Haval Abubaker, the Governor of Slemani, received Mr. Dana Karim, President of the Asia Organization for Culture and Art. Mr. Dana Karim visited to present the album “The Image of Kurds in French Art” to the Governor.

This unique documentary album features illustrations drawn by French artists during the 18th and 19th centuries, depicting various figures, scenes, and locations across Kurdistan. The work is derived from the doctoral thesis of Dr. Besaran Fairuz Hassan and was published in both Kurdish and French by the French Institute in Erbil, in coordination with the Asia Organization for Culture and Art, and with the support of the Governor of Slemani.

The Governor expressed his gratitude and reiterated his support for their work.
