Wsha Library is one of the largest and most important libraries in Slemani. It was established in 2009 by the decision of Nawshirwan Mustafa on Zargata Hill as an institution for public service. It contains more than 25,000 books, manuscripts, newspapers, magazines, photographs, and archives, which provide a great resource for readers, writers, and postgraduate students.
”Wsha Library” acts as a protector of the Kurdish language and emphasizes the importance of the “word” as a tool for social and intellectual change.
