Yesterday marked the opening of the first Kurdish Book Fair, held under the theme: ‘Kurdish Books: The Home of Our Language and Identity.’ The event featured an open discussion with the esteemed author and researcher, Soran Hamarash, titled: ‘The Kurdish Inferiority Complex: Causes, Consequences, and Solutions.’

The fair will run for 10 days, from August 13 to August 22, and is open daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Visitors are invited to enjoy a wide variety of books, seminars, and panel discussions at Family Mall, Slemani.
