Today, Dr. Haval Abubaker, the Governor of Slemani, participated in the unveiling ceremony of a statue dedicated to the prominent writer, activist, and journalist Mr. Khalat Omar, held at the Slemani Public Library.

The ceremony was organized by the Media and Awareness Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), in collaboration with the author’s distinguished family and the Slemani Public Library. The statue was crafted by the skilled hands and artistic expertise of the sculptor Chenar Jaza.
