SLEMANI — The sixth edition of the Slemani International Film Festival (SIFF) officially kicked off today in the city of Slemani, running from September 9 through September 15, 2026. Organized with the support of the Kurdsat Media Organization, the prestigious week-long festival brings together international and regional filmmakers, cultural figures, writers, and artists.

Held under the theme “The Dignity of Humanity,” this year’s festival showcases a diverse lineup of feature films, shorts, and documentaries emphasizing human dignity, cultural storytelling, and global cinematic dialogue.
