In coordination between the two UNESCO Cities of Literature, Melbourne and Slemani, the writer and researcher Ms. Nashmil Ali Barzanji participated successfully in the international “The Green House,” project, representing Slemani on this global platform.
This project, which is conducted annually by Melbourne City of Literature in Australia, is one of the sustaining initiatives in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. It is dedicated to writers and researchers who offer creative visions for interconnecting the fields of literature, the environment, and nature.
In this edition of the project, representatives from only five cities across Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Slemani in the Kurdistan Region have participated, which highlights the high standing and strong capacity of Slemani’s representation among the participants in this global network.
