Coordinated by both Slemani and Nottingham UNESCO Cities of Literature, three students from the Slemani International Educational Complex have been officially selected to participate in the international project “Talking Cities,” organized by the Nottingham Youth Advisory Board, which brings together creative young people from around the world for a unique cultural and literary exchange.
The project features 75 participants from 15 cities across 12 different countries. Students Parsa Rostam Ali, Lano Saman Salam, and Prusha Shapol Fariq will represent the city of Slemani within this international group. Their selection reflects the high academic and creative standards of their educational institution and further strengthens Slemani’s position as a global Creative City of Literature.
The project connects participants through handwritten letters, through which they share their identities and the histories of their cities in a global dialogue, introducing Slemani’s rich cultural heritage to other cities around the world.
