Zanst Organization is a non-governmental and non-partisan organization that focuses on dialogue and research in intellectual, cultural, political, and social fields. The organization conducts research on the history of Kurdistan, the Kurdish people, Kurdish society, geography, and demography, as well as the scientific and literary works of Kurdish scholars and the historical landmarks of Kurdistan.

Additionally, it works on preparing a comprehensive index of manuscripts by Kurdish scholars and translating articles and research papers from Kurdish into other languages and vice versa. Alongside these efforts, it is currently preparing an encyclopedia about the Kurds and Kurdistan, of which five volumes have been published to date.
