This September, Hobart City of Literature in collaboration with the University of Tasmania, welcomes you all to follow the sun across four UNESCO Cities of Literature for a unique global storytelling event.
Beginning in Ōtepoti (Dunedin/NZ), travelling to Nipaluna (Hobart/Australia), then on to Wonju/South Korea, and finishing in Jakarta/Indonesia, you’ll experience stories, conversation and creativity as evening falls across the region.

Join us on Thursday 17 September from 4.20pm AEST (9:20PM Kurdistan Time) to listen to live story readings, explore interactive activity boards and tune into a panel discussion on literacy, literature and children. Drop in for as little or as long as you like over this five-hour online journey.

There will be a welcome video to start at 4.20pm AEST(9:20PM Kurdistan Time) and then the stories will be shared after that as the sunsets.

Stories will remain available on the Hobart City of Literature website throughout September as part of World Literacy Month.
